We all feel down from time to time. How do you combat the blues? What’s one tip you can share with others that always helps to lift your spirits?
The one thing that always takes away my blues is to get outside and take a walk. Just force yourself get up out of your chair, walk away from your desk, leave your problems and take some time for yourself. That simple act lets me know that life is bigger than my little problems. The combination of the blue sky and the bright sun and the dynamic clouds and the wind in the trees and the people and the traffic and everything is just so invigorating that I always go back to whatever I was doing refreshed and in a better frame of mind. If you want to chase the blues away or if you are looking of inspiration and want to chase greatness taking a walk on an regular daily basis is where it all begins. As a bonus a often have idea come to me uninvited that help to move my project along or help me over a hurtle that I was stumped with before I took the walk and gave the project and the process I break which means that my brain was giving me a reward for giving it a rest.
